Dream about your summer garden with this delightful mix of pieced blocks and appliqued panels. Tucked among daisy-like coneflowers, you'll find butterflies, busy bees, and a garden snail or two. Day Dreams is suitable for your favorite method of applique. Use hand techniques, fusible web with a machine button-hole stitch, or invisible machine applique with freezer paper and starch. The shapes have gentle curves and no points. It's perfect for a quick project or the beginning appliquer! Our kit is available in a large throw, twin, queen, and king sizes and includes the pattern and all the fabrics you need to construct the applique panels, sashings, borders, and binding. You'll need to purchase the individual pieced block kits from the participating Patchwork Party stores. A coordinating backing can also be purchased. Let us choose, or you can choose your favorite print from the Sanctuary collection. Our pattern includes a layout diagram with full-size templates for the applique, how-to's for making the dimensional flowers, and instructions for putting it all together. You'll even find quilting motifs that can be machine or hand quilted or used as patterns for additional applique. Day Dreams designed by Carolyn McCray and the team at Cottage Quilts.

There's no need to pick up your work and move it to make another cut. Simply cut, rotate the mat, and cut again. This 12", self-healing, rotating mat will save you lots of time and effort. I tried out this mat when I made our test block. It came in very handy for rotary cutting the corners of my block pieces.
